“Rebels Are We” by Chic – Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera

Chic are the sounds of disco that the mirror ball had been waiting for. The funky guitars. Thumping’ and kick-beat rhythms of the bass and the magic songs that made the nightlife feel at home and in style moving along with time. In 1980 their album “Real People” was a funky-fest into a new era of Chic-ness. The first single “Rebels Are We” was a thought of mighty love and power which elevates a two into turning against the world to unite proudly.

The theme flows into the 1977 comedy “Fun With Dick & Jane” starring George Segal and Jane Fonda about an upwardly mobile couple who find themselves unemployed and turns to a life of crime in desperation. The hilarious antics of these two criminals bring the “rebel” value to mind.
