The 1963 Alfred Hitchcock horror classic, "The Birds" is the outline for The Salsoul Orchestras disco-fied Russian-ballet, "The Firebird" by Stravinsky from 1910.

"Magic Bird of Fire" is a wonderful outline for the disco symphony that made disco music widely acceptable for its layered disco arrangements. The 1977 LP "The Journey Continues" was produced by Vincent Montana, Jr. and also featured Runaway with Loleatta Holloway, their Grammy winning cover of Earth Wind and Fire's "Getaway", as well as the 1976 theme from the Montreal Olympics.
